May the force be with you and all that jazz. We didn't let a little rain stop us (although I was secretly kinda entertaining the thought more than once last night). Beggar's Night will go on.

We were the Star Wars family this year. Can you guess who we are?

On top of the rain, it was "see your breath" cold. We found Mrs. Solomon's house. See how she's bundled up? I'm not kidding. It was that cold. It took an hour for me to get the feeling back in my fingers when we returned to Uncle Kevin's house. It was so cold that after a few blocks of houses, Kekoa was ready to wrap up the candy hunt. He had enough candy he was sure and his basket wasn't even a quarter full. On our adventure, we managed to find Colton's house - a friend from school. He was a mighty fine looking ninja.

And Colton's house was pretty fantastic, too. Next year, we're going to have to make sure we stop to see some of our favorite friends - they sported some pretty spectacular costumes themselves this year courtesy of one of the most creative mother's I know.

But the highlight of the evening was the light saber dueling that went on with Daddy. That kind of fun even trumps candy.

Happy Halloween! And bring on the chocolate.
