Surely It Couldn't Have Been

Do you have any idea how lucky I am to get to listen to these two practice? Do I have any idea how lucky I am? Relaxing afternoon at home. Cold outside, but that sunshine is streaming in. Surely it couldn't have been this amazing to listen to us practice the flute or the piano at home, Mom... and I'm betting they aren't going to feel the same way about my accordion practice. Heh.

Add That to My Resume

After a beautiful sunset view on top deck...

... I drove a pirate ship all by myself tonight.  First time.  Totally adding that to my resume.

Thank you, Captain.

Gavyn's First Guitar Recital

A bit of awesomeness happened today... Gavyn's first guitar recital. I must say... I went into this experience with a bit of "dread". It ended up being one of the more calming parts of my day. And no joke... I found myself fighting back tears when not one, but two Dad's (one on piano and one on guitar) sat down to play their part in the recital. One of the bravest, most beautiful things I've seen an adult human do in a long time. Inspired me to be more daring and courageous.

Christmas Party Time

Kind of a demanding little fella.  Like I didn't have anything better to do with my Saturday.

At least he's polite?

Doin' fancy tonight... at Moose Lodge. Is that a UFO?

Here we goooo.....  night out with my hubby.  First Christmas party with his new co-workers at his new job.  Happy.

Painting Penguins

No Saturday basketball means painting penguin party with my boys.

Kekoa went all zombie penguin on me.  Boys.

Watch Out for #7

It has begun...

Gotta watch out for that #7.  Basketball tournament time.  Kinda cute to see him setting picks.  Seems like this might be how we spend most Saturdays in the next few months.  And that's ok by me.

The Nadas Silent Night - 12 Years of Christmas

First there was dinner (at one of my favorite places, I might add...).  My dinner was disappointing, so we'll focus on the Pizza Gusto anitpasti... yes that is salmon... yes that is brussel sprouts...

yes, that is good company...

yes, there was aftermath... sadly, there was no time for dessert...

And then there was music...  good, good music...

Oh nos! I lost Mike's face on this one, but I like it because it has "Iiii'm goIN' down to the RI-ver..." written all over it... even though I don't think that's the song they were singing... heh.

Treated to "Here Comes Christmas" right before intermission.

We may or may not have snuck up to the balcony at intermission.  VIP section only.

Little Goat bandanas came out after intermission.  Pretty serious crowd.  We fit right in.

*singing* Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty girlllll.... *end singing*

Wait... where'd the music go?  Post show group photo with the set tear down overall photo bomb.

Last minute detour.  Craig's first late night visit to Fong's for their "Wonton" Pizza (interpreted means Crab Rangoon... sorry... I know a lot of languages)... good night...

Night with friends.  My favorite.
